Jim Dillabough has been running D Bar Diamond Ranch in Whitehorse for over 25 years. For over 50 years, he has been fighting for farmers’ rights and the rights of all Yukon residents to grow their own food. He and his wife Carrie rent out their land for camping, hiking, horseback riding, equipment storage and have a facility for cat and dog boarding.
Let us be your hosts on your journey into the Great White North. Clients love taking advantage of our vast walking and horseback riding trails. Explore our many trails on over 650 acres of the beautiful Fifton Mountain terrain. Clients love immersing themselves in the beauty of the Yukon and have held a number of events on our grounds for a variety of good causes, including the Scout Jamboree and the Fulda Challenge.
Food in the Heart of the Yukon
We offer a wide variety of organic crops and farm products for sale, including eggs and beef. For us, organic isn’t about a piece of paper, it's a statement on how we choose to grow our products and raise our animals.
Our mission is to bring environmentally-sound, healthy, safe and affordable food to the people of the Yukon. Our ranch uses local, organic grain to feed all of our animals and refuses to use harmful chemicals.
If you have a question about our produce or our land, just ask – we are always on-hand to give helpful advice. Call or visit us today to learn more about D Bar Diamond Ranch.
We specialize in taking care of your dogs when you can't. When dogs come to us, they are not put in cages. We treat them as part of the family and allow them to run the grounds.
